Remembering OLA Member Julie Keil

Julie KeilWe received news that longtime OLA member Julie Keil passed away this week after battling brain cancer. Her family posted this message on Facebook:

"With a heavy heart, we share that our beloved cousin, Julie Keil, passed away yesterday after a hard-fought battle with brain cancer. She fought with incredible strength and determination right up to the very last day, always challenging herself and even her medical teams. Julie was deeply appreciative of everyone who supported her - those who drove her to appointments, called to check in, sent messages, and cheered her on throughout this difficult journey. She felt that love and encouragement every step of the way. We will be planning a celebration of Julie's life later this spring and will share details when they are available."

Julie was the executive director of the Ohio Association of Rehabilitation Facilities for over a decade before launching her own lobbying firm, Capital Success, in 2010.

We extend our deepest sympathies to her colleagues, friends, and family, and we will share information about her celebration of life as we learn the details.
