The OLA contracts with a vendor to provide secure online payment of membership dues and event payments.

OLA Membership Refund/Cancellation Policy

The Ohio Lobbying Association (“OLA”) Board reserves the right to refuse/cancel a membership in the OLA.

OLA Membership Cancellation by Participant

  • Membership cancellations received within 10 business days of registration may be eligible to receive a full refund less a $25 service fee.
  • After 10 business days, no refunds will be made available for membership purchases.
  • Requests for refunds in membership must be emailed to info@ohiolobby.org.
  • Membership can be cancelled at any time by requesting such cancellation in an email to info@ohiolobby.org.
  • All refund requests must be made by the individual member or credit card holder.
  • Refund requests must include the name of the member and/or invoice number.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.

OLA Event Refund/Cancellation Policy

Event Cancellation by Sponsor

  • The OLA reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.
  • If OLA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
  • Should circumstances arise that result in a postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at a new, future date.

Registration Cancellation by Participant

  • Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 2 business days before the event.
  • Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
  • Cancellations will be accepted by email to info@ohiolobby.org and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
  • All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
  • Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
